Spur Creativity in Cortez as a Trustee!

Our monthly grants are funded by members of our community! Trustees donate $100/month and in return, get the opportunity to vote each month on which project we fund. By committing to a gift of $100 per month, you are joining a group of active community members who represent many different local orgs and interests. Not only is this an opportunity to impact your community by voting monthly to select an innovative local project, but you are also creating connections with others who want to make Cortez, Colorado an amazing place to live.

by promoting local arts, cultivating innovative experiences,
and offering an inclusive, welcoming community space. We envision Cortez as a cultural destination that’s energized by local artists and innovative changemakers. We believe in: an energetic downtown, community driven change, transformative power of the arts, diversity & inclusion, and constant evolution.

EVERY MONTH, WE FUND $1000 CREATIVE GRANTS
to support community innovation and connection. Made possible by the generosity of our Trustees and LOR Foundation. These are no-strings-attached grants for everyday people trying to better their communities. Trustees meet on an agreed time each month to vote on grant proposals and look for projects that:

1) Make Cortez, Colorado an amazing place to call home
2) Produce something tangible
3) Provide new opportunities
4) Engage a broad community

Trustees donate $100/month and receive the following perks:

• Meet monthly to vote on projects to receive $1000
• 50% off ZU Gallery rental per year
• 81321 Launch pull-over
