Bring Your Creative Vision to Life

The City of Cortez Public Arts Advisory Committee and the LOR Foundation are excited to offer $1-$4,000 grants for arts projects that make Cortez an amazing place to call home.

This is an advance grant payment with no match requirement. If you're solving a problem in a creative, artistic way—any medium is welcome—make it happen!

Tiny Grant

$1 - $499

Perfect for small community projects, art installations, or creative interventions that add beauty and connection to our town.

Micro Grant

$500 - $1,499

Ideal for medium-scale projects like community murals, performances, art shows, or creative events that engage neighbors.

Small Grant

$1,500 - $4,000

For ambitious projects that transform spaces, launch new traditions, or bring innovative artistic experiences to Cortez.

Produces something tangible that can be seen, felt, or experienced
Engages the broader community
Brings something new, innovative, and unique to Cortez
Benefits the community and is provided at no cost to spectators/viewers
Can include supplies, contracted work, rental costs, murals, community events, performances, children's art shows, and more
